My name is Madonna Arsan, and I'm a digital producer in love with the Internet. I'm also a Hyper Island Digital Media 2009 graduate.

 

I have experience working at the NYC based advertising agencies Droga5 and Campfire. I've worked on various digital projects for clients such as PUMA, Snapple, New Museum and Mott'sdot

I'm always looking for new and exciting challenges in life.

I'd love to work with a great and inspiring team to make beautiful things, and further develop myself as a producer, within advertising, digital media and production management.

URS FISCHER
Banners for the Urs Fischer: Marguerite de Ponty exhibition at the New Museum. For the first time, the New Museum gave one artist nearly all exhibition space.

The PUMA Index is a real stock market ticker, but with an added bonus. When the market goes down the models clothes come off.

I worked with the Executive Producer as Assistant Producer from production start. I did research throughout the project, worked directly with the internal creative and account team, client and production company, assisted on test shoot, shoot and production of the website and iPhone app and parts of the seeding, tracking and documentation of website, PR video and iPhone app.

PUMA L.I.F.T.

A campaign website for the ultra lightweight, 173 gram PUMA L.I.F.T. shoe.

To illustrate the lightness of the shoe you can choose different objects to compare the weight. I helped with research for the concept and pre-production, gathered and prepared material for the shoot. During production, I assisted the Producer and the internal creative team, helped managing media plans and the production of banners, also seeding and tracking of the website.

BIKE HERO

A viral video made to promote the new Guitar Hero World Tour. Bike Hero spread like fire, over one million views in a few days.

Bike Hero was about to launch when I started my internship at Droga5. As my first project I helped with the seeding, tracking and documentation. The first week was very intense, Bike Hero was all over the web and I documented the progress hourly at first, then daily and weekly for a longer perioddot

SEKTOR3
Final Project at Hyper Island, we got assigned to create a website for a Swedish think-thank called Sektor3.

In a group of four, we had nearly two months to work on this project. A lot of our time went to researching and concepting in different stages. The client wanted a blog with "that extra touch" on it, so we put our focus on the navigation.

Once the concept was set we started the production, in three weeks we did the programming while working with a design studio for the designdot

SOL3000
Our brief was to create an interface for SOL 3000, which is a collection of all the social science books. The interface is to be used on a smartboard (interactive whiteboard) as an educational support for junior high school students.

The target group to use this interface are teachers. Our concept was to create a user-friendly navigation and structure, immediately recognizable from the books, simple to use but still inspiring. I was managing this project with one designer and one tech developer. During five weeks we came up with a concept, an interface design and created a prototype.
Good communication with the client and teamwork made this project successful. The client was delighted with the delivery and we got really positive feedback about the work and our cooperation with themdot

Peacequest
During this project we made a new website, both redesign and program it, a new visual identity and an Internet strategy.

In a team of one art director, one designer, one tech developer and me as a project manager we had five weeks to work with this project. It was a big challenge to make it on time and most of the team worked with other projects simultaneous. To come up with a completely new visual identity, redesign a website and program it in less than five weeks was hard work.

In the end, the key ingredients to a satisfied client and an end to this project was good planing, communication and motivationdot

THe beamograph
With sound and light as our theme we built a turntable that played different sounds depending on the light it recevied. The user could scratch and create music.

In a group of five people we had to come up with an idea and create it in three weeks. With light and sound sensors, photo resistors and an arduino board connected to a computer we built our turntable.

Our biggest challange was the time and no technical knowledge in the group. With a lot of research, help and testing we made it work. The class had an exhibition and we got really positive feedback for our turntabledot

CAR.FM
The assignment was to come up with a brand new business idea, make a budget, graphic identity and write a real business plan. We presented the idea to investors and the bank in hope of make it happen.

In a team of five people we had to come up with 50 unique business ideas in a week and then choose one to work with. Our concept was Internet radio for the car. Using 3G technology and the Internet radio service Last.fm our product allows the user to create a unique radio channel in the car.

The challange was to come up with a brand new business concept that was possible to do and could work in every aspect. We had to do a lot of research, mostly about the market and the technology. When we presented the concept they liked our idea but wanted to see a working prototype so we got financed from the investor to build onedot
